Aussie, How I love thee!

This is just a short post, and a little shout out to one of my all time fave conditioners. Aussie 3 minute miracle! .. This is the frizz remedy because I have curly frizzy hair.

The idea is that you use it as a special treat for when your hair needs some extra care, and leave it in for 3 minutes. It will leave you with lovely smooth soft conditioned locks, that smell great!

Of course, You can use this every time you wash you hair if you wish, but I appreciate it more if I use it ever now and again as a treat. It smells yummy and perks my hair up, leaving it frizz free, shiny and soft.

Do you use any Aussie products? I love them, and how they work.. and smell! Yum!

A Very Special Aussie Prize Package!

Remember this? .. It seems like forever ago doesn't it?

Well, my prize for that competition was going to be a day with a Makeup artist (Nic of Pixiwoo), following them around and learning some stuff from them.. However, due to other commitments she had to pull out.

Then I was informed by Aussie that they would arrange something else with another makeup artist, which was fine.. I was invited along to London one day, but I only had a couple of days notice and could not make it.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, between us we recently decided that I would be given a special prize instead, which I was more than happy with as it just seemed like everything was against us.

I got my prize yesterday and I am sooo chuffed with what I was sent. It seems like the Aussie team really put thought into what they got for me, because they are all things I love/want/need! :)

This is my signature scent, I have been wearing it since I was 18 and I love it.. How did they know that? I am impressed, I love it soo much, it smells divine!
Look at this gorgeous little brush holder! It's really dainty and vintage-y looking. It's really cute and looks lovely on my makeup table.. I was only saying recently how I wanted new storage for brushes!
I was bowled over by these!! They had taken the time to find out what I liked and knew that I am like the biggest EVER fan on True Blood, and so they got me the set of books. I have been lemming these for some time and I am sooooooo excited to own them! :)
How lucky am I? .. Sleek prize one day, and this the next. Thank you SO much to all the girls over at Aussie. I love everything and am overwhelmed that you sent me things you knew I would love.

Thank You For Reading!

Aussie Comp Make up Look!

G'day Sports!

So, a little late, I know.. But here is my entry to the Aussie competition. Luckily I was given a little extra time because I have been sick and never got the chance to do my entry.

My look was based on this gorgeous sunset picture :

I just wanted to do a hot bright sunset type look that really stands out. When I think of Australia I think of heat, sunshine, sand, and beautiful sunsets. I also added some purple eye liner on the lower lash line for the Aussie logo colour, of course! And to add a little sparkle I added some gold glitter over the purple, but I don't know if that shows in the pics. :)

I hope you like it!

Aussie Competition!

I am VERY late with this, Apologies for that! But I have been meaning to do it for a few days. I FAIL, Sorry!

So as most of you probably know by now, The Aussie Hair People have arranged a competition where they want beauty addicts to create a look for them, a look inspired by Aussie, Now Aussie as in just the hair care range, but Oz, Australia..

This is what I was told:

We want to see you get creative and come up with a look that sums up, for you, what Aussie is all about. Post your entry to your blog and we’ll give the best contenders pride of place on Uncover Aussie, with the best one from each category bagging the winner an awesome prize.

We’d love to see your community getting involved too, so invite them to post their own entries and then you choose the best one. Whoever you choose will also receive a fantastic prize!

So get cracking! The competition ends Monday 30th November, and we’ll announce the winners after that. Good luck - we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

I'm definitely gonna be taking part!.. So, get cracking people! Take part! You've got until monday.

(If you do an entry, post the look on your blog and leave me a link in the comments, or if you would prefer you can email your entries to Sophsterlicious@hotmail.com)

Good Luck! x
