A Beauty Haul.

I don't often post hauls on my blog because it isn't THAT often that I go out and just buy make up . . because I already have so much, so only if a product really grabs my attention will I make sure I get my hands on it.

From the above, I was really wanting The Rocket mascara and the Brow Drama, the others just came along because Revlon had 3 for 2 in Boots and Maybelline had Buy 1 get 1 half price in Superdrug. It would've been rude not to take advantage of such offers!

-Revlon Powder Blush ~ Racy Rose
-Revlon Colorstay Concealer ~ Fair
-Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm ~ Insaisissable Elusive
-Maybelline The Rocket Mascara ~ Black
-Maybelline Brow Drama ~ Dark Brown

I'll probably have individual reviews up on some of the products, sometime soon. As a quick over view though, I will say that I am enjoying all of my purchases! The blusher is a gorgeous colour and so blendable, the matte balm makes me want all of them, I love matte lips and it lasts so well. The concealer is amazing! I love colorstay foundation, so had an inkling the concealer would be great. The brow drama was something I wasn't sure of getting since I had read so many negative reviews on it, but it totally works for me and I am so glad that I have it, and I also love the rocket mascara!

Thanks for reading.. I hope y'all are liking the new layout too!

Liz Earle Colour: Makeup.

If you know me and you have been a reader of my blog for a while then you will have seen me write many positive reviews about Liz Earle products in the past. They sell some of the best skincare products (in my opinion) and some gorgeous body and hair care products too.

Almost a year ago they dipped their toe into the beauty world with their Sheer Skin Tint which I have reviewed and I still absolutely love. But very recently they have released their full makeup collection: Liz Earle Colour.

I have their black eyeliner pencil* and their light reflecting concealer*, which I have been playing with for a few weeks now.
"Enhance the shape and beauty of your eyes with our silky, long-lasting formula. It glides on smoothly and evenly to create striking definition. Enriched with our own natural source vitamin E."
The Eye Pencil is £11 and available in three colours. I have the black one, and wow is it black! This could possibly be one of the blackest pencil liners I have ever used. I didn't expect much from it to be honest and thought it would just be an eye pencil, but it is a highly pigmented, smooth, creamy, long lasting eye pencil. This has been my go to since I got it. If you're in need of a new black pencil, I highly suggest trying this.
"Our multi-tasking, silky formula blends smoothly over bare skin or make up, to help disguise signs of tiredness and add radiance by brightening dark circles and subtly highlighting cheek and brow bones."
The Light Reflecting Concealer hasn't really wowed me to be honest. I mean, it is a good concealer, it covers and brightens under the eyes good enough for me, but it isn't very light reflecting. The website says you could highlight your face with it, I don't think it reflects light enough for that. That's not to say it isn't a good product, for me it is a decent under eye concealer. It is smooth and creamy and blends nicely without creasing. I also must add that the silver packaging for this is so swish looking and feels very expensive.

Have you tried anything from the Liz Earle Makeup Collection? I am liking the look of the cream blushers and brushes!

-- MeMeMe Correct + Perfect..

I love concealers, and I love to find a really good one that covers really well and impresses me. The Mememe correct and perfect concealer did just that. It is a two step concealer that has a handy little powder underneath, which is such a great addition!
Correct & Perfect with this must have kit! Featuring a hydrating cream concealer to smooth blemishes & hide those tell-tale dark circles with a translucent setting powder which doubles up to to set your perfecting concealer and offers mattifying cover to any other cheeky areas. This great little compact pot with mirror offers on the spot action for girls on the go!

Me likey! This concealer is very creamy, and blends in like butter. I like to apply it with my finger to melt it into my skin easier. It is great for covering blemishes and redness, but for me it's a little too heavy for underneath my eyes, but I use a specific under eye products for that anyway.

The powder to set the concealer is great, it's really weightless and does a perfect job of setting everything in place without looking cakey. I actually like to use this to set my under eye concealer too!

This concealer is available from the MeMeMe website, or in Superdrug.

The Best Concealer! ♥

I have been meaning to review this for soo soo long now. I bought it back at the beginning of the year, as well as the foundation to match. It took me a while to get around to using them, but when I did I was wowed by the concealer.

This stuff is fabulous! It is creamy, covers amazingly well, blends nicely and sets and stays in place. I haven't used anything else since buying this. It cost around £3/£4 I think, and it's seriously good.

I suffer with my skin quite badly, but dabbing a tiny bit of this onto any spots or blemishes completely conceals it. You have to work pretty fast with it because it sets within 30/40 seconds. But once it is set it won't budge!

I will definitely repurchase this over and over. It is my HG Concealer.

[Swatches, Unblended and Blended - I have a feeling they are pointless!]
If you are wondering about my thoughts on the foundation, it's useless to me.. I bought the lightest shade, but it's too dark on me and makes my face look orange. :-(

Review · Garnier Tinted Eye Roll On.

I've been trying this little baby out for a few weeks now, and I cannot stop using it in my daily routine, I love it so much! If you watch my videos on you tube you will see that I have been using it a lot.

Why? .. Because I think it's great, It really cools and soothes my tired eyes and it covers up any darkness or redness or general tired looking-ness under my eyes, There for it is a winner for me!

I have never tried the original caffeine eye roll on before, and I was exited to try this one out and I have been pleasantly surprised, I don't know why, but I didn't really expect much but I can honestly say that it has become a must for me, the ball really cools the under eye area and this just makes my eyes less puffy and more awake looking.

Here you can see my eye before, during and after application.. The effect is subtle, but really nice in my opinion :)

So, there you have it! If you can't tell, I love this!

You can buy it from Boots here.

*This product was sent to me for review consideration, I am not affiliated with nor am I being paid to say anything about this. My opinions are honest and my own*

TTFN Under Eye Concealer!

This under eye concealer is my absolute fave right now. I got this in Primark back in July, while I was in Blackpool.. Yes, I did say Primark!

It cost about about £2/£3 and is awesomeness in a cute hot pink tube!

It is a lovely consistency, blends under the eyes really well and conceals excellently in my opinion. It reflects the light slightly, so hides any bad darkness, etc.

Here is a swatch (Sorry for the poor quality, It went a bit blurred) mine is in the shade 'light' and I don't know if they have other colours, but I would assume they do.

It comes in a tube with the little button that you press on the end which distributes the product into the brush on the end. You don't need much and it does the job! I tried to take a pic of one eye with and one without, and I can see the difference, can you? (I have not edited the lighting or anything on these, just cropped my zit ridden face out!)
