Saucy, Glitzy Nails.

This nail of the day is pretty self explanatory really. Red nails, glitter tips. I was bored one evening and had this look in mind. I love how it came out, and the photos don't really do it any justice at all. It was one of those nails looks that had me staring at my hands throughout the day. It's difficult to capture the glitzyness of Models Own Juicy Jules on camera.

So I used Eyeko Saucy Polish, and Models Own Juicy Jules on the tips.

It took a little time to do the tips, and I needed a couple of thick coats, which took ages to dry.  When they did chip (after a couple of days without a topcoat) they chipped on the glitter tip, unsurprisingly.

I think I will do these nails again closer to Christmas. They are sooo festive!

Some Current Beauty Faves .. ♡

♡ Rimmel Lash Accelorator Mascara. Wow, I love this! As a mascara the results for me are impressive .. I haven't been using it for long enough to know if it accelerates, but as a mascara it lengthens like crazy, and adds a nice amount of volume too, and it is really black.

♡ Sleek MakeUP's Molten Metals. I love how quick and simple they are to use. They last much better than most cream products before they crease, and they look great just slicked onto the lid, or even used on the lashline as a liner.

♡ Sue Moxley Shimmer Brick (Pink). Just a lovely mix of colours, perfect for a nice sheen on the cheeks, as a blusher - or the lighter shades used as a highlighter. I prefer to mix them all up. It's lovely!

♡ Eyeko Fat Balms. Lovveeee these little fatbalms! They are conditioning, smell good and look lovely on too. This is the cherry one which gives a lovely, long lasting red stain to the lips. I would recommend. 

♡ The Cosmo Beauty Blend Perfection Sponge. I need to review this more thoroughly, but I love it. It blends my foundations amazingly well and leaves me with a flawless finish. I love using sponges to apply make up, and this is my favouritist one!

These dropped through my letterbox yesterday, totally unexpectedly. Thanks Eyeko!..

I was sent 'Minty' and 'Cherry' .. both of which I love already.

Eyeko Says :

Let's start with Cherry, a gorgeous red stain that gives your lips a lovely red berry stain. This tastes delicious is sooo well pigmented for a lip balm. This makes a really nice blusher shade to, such a nice deep red *Flushed* look!

Next up, is Minty. As the name suggests it is a minty flavour, it actually feels soothing and cooling on the lips, like some of those plumpers do. This is a really pretty girlie pink shade which is a sheer shimmer rather than a heavy coverage, on the cheeks it would be the perfect highlighter.. I think I love this one the most.. but I love Cherry too, I can't decide!

Eyeko Nail Polishes.

You'll have seen a few Eyeko Nail Of The Day posts over the last couple of months, and there are still some to come, but I wanted to talk about their nail polishes in general because I love them!

As you can see they have unique quirky packaging, and each polish has it's slogan..

Saucy Polish - For Naughty Nails.
Rain Polish - For City Nails.
Posh Polish - For Ladylike Nails.
Tea Rose Polish - For Country Nails.
Vampira Polish - For Gothic Nails.

I love all of the shades and the bottles are a really nice size (8.5ml) for the bargain price on £3.50 a bottle, and they always have a good money saving offer on, and free gift promos. The applicator brush is nice too, it's long and not too flimsy.. I think a good brush is always important!

Most shades are pretty much opaque with one coat, but I always use two thinner coats to make sure I get an even coverage. Oh! and they dry fast as well.

I love these polishes and definitely want to try some more shades. Which are your fave Eyeko polishes.

Eyeko Cream, With Extra Glow!%

This was recently sent to me from Eyeko, and I was very excited to try it!

I am quite new to trying things from Eyeko, and so far I have been so impressed. Their products are cute, the packaging is quirky and everything is really nice quality.

I have never tried the original 3 in 1 Eyeko cream that they sell, So I wasn't to sure what to expect. This new cream is the same idea, but it had extra glow! We all love a bit of glow, don't we?

Here it is, swatched.


It is a really smooth thick cream that doesn't really have a scent, It blends into the skin really nicely and in my swatches it is not completely blended.

They Say : This NEW dreamy pink cream is loaded with micro light reflecting pigments perfect for creating a soft focus sheen. Add a flattering highlights to brow and cheek bones, your cupids bow, even collar bones and shins for a touch of moonlit magic.

So, I got it out and I played with it.

For me, as an all over face moisturiser it doesn't work, I am oily and a face full of shimmer would not be a cool look at all. I do think that this would be waaay too shimmery for anyone's face, all over.

As an eye cream it's ok, I mixed a tiny dot of this in with my normal eye cream and applied it, it brightened up under my eyes and gave a nice glow without looking overly shimmery.

I love it as a highlighter though, It leaves a gorgeous sheen and gives a healthy glow. I used it on my cheekbones, down my nose and a little on the brow bone and cupids bow.

Here are some pictures I took after I had applied it..

Lovely, right? I think it makes me look fresh faced, and even though I am oily skinned it doesn't make me look silly. This is definitely a nice product to have that is multi purpose, It is not glittery, but has a really pretty shimmery sheen to it.

NOTD Eyeko 'Rain Polish' <.

Here is another Eyeko polish NOTD for you, This is such a unique colour, which I love! Like a chalky pale blue, called 'Rain'. The application was smooth, you can get away with one coat as it is very opaque, but I always do two thinner coats as I find it lasts longer.

The wear for this polish was great, it lasted for 4 days before any tip wear, and then I removed it anyway to change the colour. I must say though, weirdly! I applied this on an evening and the next day it poured with rain... lol

just sayin'.

Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner!..

This is love.. I love this eyeliner, so so much!

I was sent this to try a few weeks ago and haven't stopped using it, it is so amazing. Look how thin the felt tip is!?

It is so easy to use, It's firm but soft and helps to create the perfect line, thick or think, and it makes flicks easy peasy!

I am a sucker for felt tip liners, because they are just so simple to use, you really can't go wrong, I highly recconmend this one. It is available in four shades and costs £5, from the Eyeko Website..

Mine is in the shade Navy, which is also great for brightening the eyes, as navy mascaras and liners are. It is a lovely rich blue that is so pigmented, It's staying power is really good and this lasts all day on me and comes off with my usual make up remover. The swatch I did hung around for ages!

I highly suggest you try this out if you haven't! I want to get all of them :)

NOTD Eyeko 'Posh Polish',

Please excuse the untidy application, all my nails are short at the moment because I broke a couple so have started again.

Posh Polish from Eyeko is a gorgeous Grey-Taupe colour that I think people either love or hate. Me? I love it, I think it looks sophisticated on the hands and looks good on shorter nails too.

For ladylike nails this chic taupe shade wins hands down.

It's opaque in one coat if you apply it thicker, but I went for two thinner coats. It dries quickly and the brush is nice and a good size too, It's not too stiff or soft, just right.
